yet more high end action =]
wow right at the end an error, wow.
other than that goood job TB.
Keep it up
Also, some instances might be nice.
LOL. Crash!! – Great video TB. Thanks again
You are totally selling yourself short TB! It isn’t fun to watch someone play world of warcraft my foot! At least it isnt for you because you dont have someone making ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS commentary through the whole thing! keep making these movies! They make me laugh (I also don’t have a beta inv).
I love your Vids!!!! Keep makn em!!!
I guess that error is Thralls way of revenge hehe
Congratulations TB, you’ve won the game!
Oh yeah, the cut-out-the-still-beating-heart-quest MUST be a reference to ‘Pirates of the Caribbean – Dead man’s chest’!
EPIC VID man, can you do an undead warrior next? Maybe a night elf preist?
As usual a very funny video. XD
Great video TB. I really hope to see more of the rogue, mostly will the goblins get their car back at level 20, or will it be a different mount.
I love your cata vids TB, but i have a bone to pick with a topic you have been harping on: Random Drop Quests.
Your argument against these quests is based on the assumption of indeterminate nature of their length, this assumption is false. New levelling quests no longer use a random drop system. As of wotlk, most quests use a progressive drop rate system. As you kill more mobs, the chances of you receiving the quest items you need increases. This means these quests are essentially kill quests where the developers can make definite assumptions about how many mobs you have killed, with a finite margin of error.
Unfortunately, these kinds of quests are simply necessary. In a game like wow where the time to gain each level is longer than the last, eventually you reach a point where your player needs to do a LOT of something. If you keep quest length consistent throughout the levelling process, then eventually you end up needing absolutely absurd amounts of content, and even with a budget like wow’s, that is simply not possible. Even if it were, quality would necessarily suffer and things would probably be extremely repetetive. The solution is to make longer quests, but it quickly becomes ridiculous if every quest is ‘kill 50 X’ or ‘loot 45 Y’. This is where the random quest comes in, but as your argument demonstrated, this has bad ramifications for anyone who is unlucky. So finally we are left with progressive drop rate quests, which means the designer can make the game a little more interesting without risking that someone is going to get screwed by RNG.
He he damn good video, shame there was no rogue blues.
Just wanted to mention that the “Throw it On the Ground!” quest was a reference to Lonely Island’s Throw it on the Ground song as seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNQ743VQz9U&feature=related (Pardon the spanish(?) subtitles, but it was the best version of the video I could find.)
Greely going “We’re not a part of your system!” cracked me up properly.
Thanks for the vids, sadly not in the beta myself, but your videos let me satisfy my need for cataclysm just fine. Keep up the good work!
The very, very last thing in this vid..”Ba!”
I hear.. “Ballocks!” (my spelling of your British phrasing may be slightly off)
XD
There was some cola on the left as you went to kill the overseer, though i guess you didn’t see the sparkly glitter emenating from them.
You need to put in some Labyrinth (David Bowie) theme music in at the last where everyone, good guy or bad, shows up to congratulate you. Even if you don’t it will be playing in my head.
There right TB. You are totally selling yourself short. I watched a friend play world of warcraft. although if you were the one making the commentary through the whole thing when i first started watching i probably would have died from laughing. Your really good please keep the vid’s coming.
Epic ending : Fatal error hahaha
Good Job , like always , keep it mate ^^
