Blue Plz! – Season 4 : Episode 16
So for a while now, folks have been asking me to provide my pre-show playlist. So I had an idea as to how best to achieve that. I play these guys on my preshow so that I can help grow their fanbase. I’ve been doing metal shows online for 11 years now as well as 4 years with my University radio station. Everytime the goal is the same, play good, sometimes unappreciated metal bands, get people into them, show people how great a genre metal is. So here’s what I’m going to do. You will find the playlist for each preshow in the show notes from here on in. I will provide Amazon links to each track, so you can buy the individual mp3. Amazon is generally the cheapest place to get them and the tracks are high quality, DRM free mp3s. If you buy a track from the preshow list, the site gets a small cut of the profit. The bands win, the site wins, you save money and get the music you want, it’s great for everybody. The affiliate links are for the UK version of the store, so you may have to find the tracks yourself if you’re outside of that region. You can preview each track via these links as well, so you can get an idea of whether or not you want to purchase it. If you usually listen via podcast, you may not know that each live show is preceded by an hour’s worth of music, consisting primarily of various types of metal. This is what you’ve been missing.

Show Notes
This week on Blue Plz! A listener asks at what point do add-ons become too much and does the banning of the AVR mod mean a change in Blizzard’s stance? Plus would giving players gear above their station be ok as long as it took them a long time to get it asks another fan? TotalBiscuit says hell no.
Blizzard has delayed the deployment of the Ruby Sanctum. TotalBiscuit explains why this is a positive move and another sign by Blizzard that they are taking the progression race far more seriously.
As a consumer, when is it right to protest and what is the best way to do it? Well, TotalBiscuit tells you how NOT to do it.
In the Illusion of Choice, a listener asks for TotalBiscuits opinion on the new Battleground, Twin Peaks. Can Blizzard really pull off asymmetrical like they did in the old days?
